• ARES

ARES is a Java-based research framework built around Bit-Sliced Indexing (BSI) for data analytics and query processing. The project integrates BSI data structures with supporting libraries to enable experiments in compressed bitmap indexing, query optimization, and large-scale data exploration.

ARES complements the C++ and PyTorch BSI implementations by providing a JVM-based platform for prototyping algorithms, running benchmarks, and integrating with Java-centric data pipelines.
